Welcome to West Youth Cheer 2024!

I am looking forward to building up a strong team of future West High School Cheerleaders! This season brings lots of excitement as there are many new girls registered along with our "seasoned" returning girls. This year, I am hoping to have two cheer squads (5th/6th and 7th/8th) and one big competition squad for all the girls to participate on. Practice Schedule and Expectations

Practices for the 2024 season will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm at Waukesha West High School.

If you have any other extracurricular activities going on please make sure you can commit to these days and times before you register. We expect every cheerleader to attend every practice on time unless otherwise notified!

A few notes regarding practice...

*Please do your best to be on time to each practice!
*Please be prompt in picking up your cheerleader!

*We never want your child to miss a practice due to a transportation issue. If for any reason you need help getting your child to or from practice on a given day, please contact your director as soon as possible so we can assist you in coordinating a carpool.
*Make sure your child comes to practice ready to practice! This means that by 4:30 p.m. your child must have their cheer shoes on, hair tied back out of face, wearing athletic clothing, fingernails trimmed and wearing no jewelry of any kind. (Please refer to the cheer guidelines located in your cheer handbook if you have any questions regarding practice attire or contact the director.)

Calendars and game schedules for the 2024 season will be uploaded later this summer. You can plan on practices for cheer to begin in mid-to late July
